Go to the home page, drop your files into the upload box, choose an expiry and press “Get link”. Then copy the link or QR code and share it.
Up to 2 GB per transfer and up to 20 files.
Program and script files such as .exe, .msi, .bat, .cmd, .scr, .vbs, .ps1 and .jar are blocked. Anything illegal or harmful is forbidden by our Acceptable Use Policy.
Uploads retry on their own when the connection drops. If it fails completely, check your internet and try again. Keep the page open until it finishes.
Every transfer gets a 6-digit code next to its link. The other person can type it on the Receive page instead of opening the link, which is handy when you are reading it out loud or typing it on a TV or school computer.
Private mode encrypts your files in your browser before they upload. The key is part of the link and never reaches our servers, so only people with the full link can open the files. Private transfers have no receive code and no previews.
Open the link and press “Download” next to each file, or “Download all as ZIP”.
Links expire after the time the sender chose or after the download limit. Ask the sender to share the files again.
Only the sender knows the password. We cannot recover it because we store only a secure hash.
The sender may have set a download limit. Once it is used up, the link closes and the files are deleted soon after. Ask the sender to share the files again.
Not to send or download. You only sign in, with Google, to make file request links or to see My transfers.
Sign in with Google on Request files, describe what you need and share the link. Anyone with the link can upload without an account, and we email you each time files arrive.
See the transfers you sent while signed in, keep a link open longer, delete files early and close file requests.
Only people you give the link to. Links are random and cannot be guessed, and transfer pages are hidden from search engines.
No. We never open, read or share your files. To stop known malware, we compare each file’s fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) with public malware databases. Only the fingerprint is checked, never the file. Private-mode files are encrypted in your browser, so we cannot read or check them.
If a fingerprint matches known malware, the transfer is blocked, its files are deleted and the same file cannot be uploaded again.
Use the “Report this transfer” link on the download page or our report form. We review reports within 24 hours.
